We are genuinely excited that you are seeking more information about Jewish Life on the Kenyon campus. Kenyon Hillel reflects and enhances the open and welcoming atmosphere felt throughout the entire Kenyon community. By offering a wide range of religious, educational, cultural, political, and social activities, we seek to provide positive and meaningful experiences for all of our members and friends.

Jewish life at Kenyon is largely shaped by the enormous range and depth of our students' interests. We see it as essential that we ensure our students learn how to be good citizens who build better communities. The development of skills—such as problem solving, conflict resolution, and articulation of ideas—is essential for a working, forward-moving individual and community.

We build upon our traditional strengths of community, friendship, and diversity to provide some of the necessary tools that students must have as they continue to grow and develop. By encouraging and enhancing communication among each other, we make the most of opportunities for meaningful and rich moments that inspire students to reflect upon the present and become better equipped for the future. We encourage engagement and diversity in recognition of the challenges facing this generation. We strive to continually raise expectations, to capture educational moments and build outstanding, well-qualified leaders and citizens who will have a positive effect on their own communities.
